What led me to animation:
When I was 7 years old, I went to a local theater that had "The Nightmare Before Christmas" showing, and it blew me away. I had no idea how they made that crazy looking film, but my determination made me watch the special features of the movie. In the "behind the scenes" video, they explained animation in it's simplest form. After finding out about this...animation, I bought clay and made multiple clay-mation videos and flip-book videos. It would be all I ask for Christmas. My parents fully supported my dream, and bought me a graphics tablet at the age of 12. This is when I knew I love everything about animation.
